Monrovia is a town in Monroe Township, Morgan County, Indiana, United States. The population was 628 at the 2000 census. It is the home of Indy Racing League driver Gary Bettenhausen, as well as Detroit Lions Wide Receiver John Standeford and award-winning basketball coach Branch McCracken.
