Campbell is a city in Hunt County, Texas, United States. The population was 734 at the 2000 census. It was founded in 1880 by local settlers and was named for Postmaster General, and future Texas Governor, Thomas Campbell. Campbell is located at 33°08′53″N 95°57′05″W / 33.14806°N 95.95139°W / 33.14806; -95.95139 (33.1481702, -95.9513564). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.3 square miles (5.9 km²), all of it land.
