Hewitt is a city in McLennan County, Texas, United States. The population was 11,085 at the 2000 census, and was 12,987 after a 2005 estimate. It is part of the Waco Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was featured in the film Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, including the fictional Hewitt Regional Airport.
