Plevna is an unincorporated community in southeastern Knox County, Missouri, United States. It is located about fourteen miles southeast of Edina on Route 15. According to Ramsay, the community was probably founded and named by John "Plevna" Naylor in 1877, and is named after Plevna, Bulgaria. In that year was the Russian victory at the Siege of Pleven of the Russo-Turkish War.
