Stevenson is a unincorporated community located in the northern section of Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. It serves as the location of the central campus of Stevenson University (formerly called Villa Julie College). It is also home to St. Timothy's School, an all-girls boarding and day high school. It is also the home of Gerald "Buzz" Berg, the owner of 9 bison that escaped from the farm and went through the community of Pikesville. Berg said that the bison were likely headed for the slaughterhouse after they were corralled on a tennis court. The family enjoyed three months of buffalo burgers following the internationally-reported incident.
